Should I release the elite?

Just to let you know Nugget, i'd be happy with just the head. I would like to experiment with this, I have an idea. Also this is the only elite file with a neck. all the others are either full figure or just the head.
 
Yes, please release the Elite! I've been looking for H3 models of Elite armor for a while now and I just about had a heart attack when I saw yours. :D I don't care if I have to unfold it myself!

Seriously... I almost screamed like a fangirl- err... fanboy.. whatever. Fanboys usually don't scream like that though. o_O
 
PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD RELEASE A PEP OF THE ROCKET POD AND MINIGUN 1:1 scale PLEASE i just printed out your spartan laser and i hould be working on it the next week and i want the rocket pod and minigun even if i have to goto fedex to get it printed out
 
I hate to keep asking, but since they're done, are you going to release the elite models? Even if you don't release them to the general public, I reaaaally want them!! ;)
 
I know you've been really buisy with the elite and all but could you get back to making weapons soon? It's hard to wait for pep models this amazing.
 
Sorry about making you all wait so long. I've had a ton of work lately and have been sick a lot. I'll get back on the bandwagon as soon as I have some free time.

The elite is being worked on by Smiley, by the way.

About the weapons - Many of them I'm re-doing. They've got lots of errors and inaccuracies. I'll get back to work as soon as my real life slows down. :{D
 
well all i want is the rocket pod and minigun and your laser don't look like its bad but we shall see what it looks like when i do it in the next one to one and a half weeks or if ya just wanna PM me the completed models that woul be cool too

You'd recognize it if you played GEIST for Gamecube :D

That model is a test they send out in the form of a really crappy sketch.
The picture is of a "remake" I'm doing to see if I can "reapply" for a position with them (n-space)

The first one I did, I didn't know it was actually from a published game therefore it didn't come out exactly as they were expecting..
How was I supposed to guess that it needed to look a specific way? I figured it was up to my creative powers to get it done as best as possible based on the sketch.
Another thing that bothered me was that they gave me a triangle limit that is just about HALF of what the model is in game. Basically, I had ZERO panel extrusions or even the framework on the right of the containment unit..

But I want to resubmit something. I need a job, and to top it off, a buddy of mine from high school, whom I used to help out with Maya, is now a game designer at
n-space. He's trying to get me in, but how ironic is that?!? :D
 
so what if you can show a game developer a kick ass 3d model that can help you get a job with them?

Game developers usually don't want to see ultra high detailed models since it would never make it into a game. What they want to see is how good a model looks with the least amount of geometry possible.
Considering that the model I made, when the sketch was sent to me, they said it was for a PSP game, therefore the polygon limits.

Maybe for normal mapping you'd use HD models. but then again, its MUCH easier to make an insanely detailed model with Gigllions of triangles, than it is to make something decent under 1000 triangles :)

Just like the Chief in Halo2, if you look at the model without shaders, then with the bump map applied, you see a world of details you can get without the extra geometry.

Hey, I love the CMT maps. Their campaign remake is pretty sweet and the multiplayer maps are almost perfect. nice job on all of the models. Can't wait to see them finished. I too would like you to release the Elite. It might be useful to me.
