I was browsing around youtube when I found this vid of this Gundam Arcade simulation game. And man it looks crazy awesome. Probably the most realistic thing to piloting a real Mobile Suit. I wish there was more variety to the Mobile Suit Selection. There's really only like a few Gundams you can play as. I wish they at least put in some of the good ones from the series like the Gundam Mk II or Zeta Gundam, and maybe Wing Zero. However, its only in Japan. So if you ever stop by Japan this is definitely one the games to play. But for now, I'm just going to have to stick to Steel Battalion.

Anyway, heres the vids.

We have something slightly similar to that, cept its graphics are worse, and the controls are terrible.
But that looks SO awesome, especially with how the screen surrounds you, and with the headset.

There is one in north Dallas, Tx. I can't remember the name of the place, but its off of I 75(if memory serves).
[edit]
Didn't find any info on the Dallas one, but there is one in Houston that doesn't have this particular game, but some similar ones. It's called Mech Corps. It is located at 4815 Highway 6 North, Houston, TX. Games start at $6/10minutes.

More info on the Gundam Sim. Can be found HERE!

Some show I was watching the other night used a screen like this to simulate deep sea diving. Basically just a laminated projector screen in the shape of a semi-circle.

I can't even express how badly I want to give one of these a try... especially if they make a first person Iron Man game. :D

WOW. I  ! if i could even PLAY this game i would go nuts. ive been a long time gundam fan and would love to give this a shot!!! :D

Wow, i remember playing the old school Armored Core (i thik, it was VERY similar to the first Armored Core) arcade game on the boardwalk. Too bad there isnt anything like that around here, but at least we get a nice set of Initial D ver. 3 pods.

That first video, the machinegun looks like one used by a few Mobile Suits in The 08th MS Team; the GM, GM Sniper, and the Extra Zero-Eight (EZ-8). I have a few Gundam Model kits im working on currently so i instantly recognized the gun, Master Grade EZ-8 FTW. Good to see alot of Gundam fans around.

Aw man, why must the Japanese always have the best toys? I want to pilot a Zaku or Gelgoog SO BAD!!

I hope that they send a few hundred units stateside sometime, they could make a KILLING at conventions (not to mention so many gundam fans would want to play it).
