Don't worry. We all know that buying armor out right is very expensive. That kit you see on EBAY will probably sell for $1500. That's the whole point of this site. For those people who can't afford that, and wish to make armor anyways.
We have some light tutorials, and some good suggestions on how to get started. So, the question is, what do you want to start with? Start small, like the chest piece, or the hand pieces even. Work up from there.
