........yyyyyyyYYYYYYYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! you know how there are those people who are basically worshipped for their ability? and there's that one thing that you want to see them make because it will push them to their limits? Lee and his reach sniper, Adam and his AR, dogwizard and his hammer, ithica and his busa, ect. each has his/her mona lisa. well this sir, that gun, in my eyes, is going to be your mona lisa. i've always been amazed by your talant and im pretty sure that this is going to take the cake. I. CANT. WAIT.

That means a lot to me hearing that. Those guys and there builds are awesome. I do hope that this build puts me on there level. I am putting a lot of thought into this build. It a 100% starch build

Epic works are epic! What can I say.... OMG THIS IS SOO GOOOD! Can't wait to see them finish. You got 10 thumbs up!

Thank You bro. I put a hold on working on the suit. Right now im all over the Turret Gun. I know youll love it.

Nick Nack, I was wondering was it easy building your armor? I've tried the foam method on a test shin and it didn't come out right, so I'm finally planning on building my armor (I got a job now), so the question is will this be easier than pep. I hope you understood me. :)

The foam method is still pep. Its just a different way of putting it together. My opinion the old fashion way in more costly. Card Stock+bondo+fiberglass+fiberglass matt+Sander+sandpaper. It all adds up. Foam method is just foam, hot glue, and a little bit of thinking. You might want to try foam just one more time. It wont always come out right the first time.

This is where I get my foam http://www.foambymail.com/Minicel.html

First, the build is Phenom! Second, I'm with you on the getting in shape. I don't want to start a suit untill I get in shape again. BTW, I used to be a gym rat back in the day, and that is a **** ton of weight. You may be half spartan. Keep up the good work.

I hit 1,000 the other day. You might want to try P90X. Try it. Stick with it. It works wounders

I gotta tell you guys I've been going to Nick Nack's house every other week, and it's insane the amount of work he does on his suit, and projects. The pictures really doesn't do it justice he did the fiberglass, and bondo work on my carter helmet, and it's freaking amazing I just got done painting it I'm loving it.

Hey Galvatron. Im glad you join the 405th. Welcome buddy. How is the Suit?

This is awesome. I saw your Heavy Iron man vid a while back and knew this would be great! Keep up the good work.

I really miss that suit. Its no longer with us :(

Right, you owe me a new pair of eyes, mine have just burst with awesome, lol. OT this is one of the best builds I have seen in a long time. Amazing work mate.

Bro I know the feeling. Im on my third pair this year lol.

My god! I simply cannot believe the level of awesomeness that your build has accrued. And as soon as you get more pics of the Jorge chain gun...POST THEM!! Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to cry by myself because you're so much better than me... ;)

I just posted them, just for u bro. enjoy

I’m sorry to hear about your nieces passing Nick Nack, Honestly there is nothing I can say to erase what has happened or the pain you feel. I’m sure you have a strong network of friends and family to get you through this. However, I’m here if you ever need someone to listen (Seriously). Just know that you are around people that care about you. Stay positive. I will be praying for you my brother. Keep your head up.

-Tony

P.S. your update is phenomenal as usual

BLACKULA you really are a great guy. Think you my friend.

I hit 1,000 the other day. You might want to try P90X. Try it. Stick with it. It works wounders

A buddy of mine picked the program up for me a few days ago. It is downloaded on the PS3 waiting on me to turn it on and get to work, lol. I know it's gonna kick my butt big time, but I am definitely looking forward to the results it will bring.

Oh and BTW, that chain gun is well....... off the chain!!!! You are quite the craftsman Nick.

Thank You everyone. Im doing a lot better now. I took a week off of work. I'm well rested, and im ready to continue life.

Work on my props help me think about other things, and make the healing go faster.

I happy to post up dates and show you guys what I have been up to. Its no problem at all.

Thank You everyone. I feel the love

No prob Nick Nack. We're all glad to hear your feeling better. Trust me, when I found out my dog that I had for 15 years died on the day of my birthday and when my great grandma died who I was so close to the next week after that, I picked up my helmet and started to work on it ( other dog destroyed it....) But it really does help to relax and put a smile on one's face. Trust me, you are loved around here bro, your props are amazing, and your a real friendly guy. Keep at it!

I'm sorry to hear about your niece. My uncle died a few years ago and the year after that four of my team mates were killed. I became less productive at everything and it just doesn't help. Keep doing the things that make you happy.

Such a lonely day...and it's mine.
It's a day that I'm glad I survived...

I forget the name of the song that comes from.

Back on topic, I'm still trying to decide on whether to do foam or fiberglass. At least with the fiberglass, I can say it's research for patching the rust holes on my car!

Isn't that "Lonely Day" by System of A Down? I've got a feeling it is, despite not having heard it in a long time. *shrug*

on topic again, it's good to hear that this helps, Nick. I know the feeling, to an extent.
Patience, discipline.

Your work is really good, hope my build turns out half as good. my condolences on your niece. it is never easy to accept the loss of a young life. hope in time the sadness is eased.

Thank You everyone. You guys are the reason I love being part of the 405th family.

Here are some pictures that I did not get to post up.

Michael Jackson is not the only black man that can turn white lol

1st my condolences to you and your family.

OMG!!!!!! Your build is turning out UBER FANTASTIC!
I love how smooth the helm is getting. Your very good at the bondo and sanding!
What really is getting me excited is the detail and electronics that your putting into the gun!
Kudo's for spending the extra time and not rushing it.
Nick you are a PRO and I can tell that this build is going to be EPIC!

Please keep up the awesome work and please keep posting your progress reports with pics.
Its inspirational and Amazing! :)

Cheers!

Love the work your putting into this build! Can't wait for the next! And, a little tip, try putting an amber lens down the barrel for added color for the muzzle flash.

Thanks For the tip bro. I tried it. Its a cool FX but it took some of the kick out the bright lights. I like blinding people lol.

That's actually a nice kit that toy has, the speaker is sub-par but that's not an issue at all.

There two speakers inside. They are located in the two PVC pipes under the main barrel. The PCV pipes amplifi and adds bace to the speakers. Its sounds a lot better then it originally did

the knife, helmet, and chain gun look awesome so far and the knife turned out great =D keep up the fantastic work

that is a really creative idea to wire your gun up like that. and your pilot is turning out great. very smooth. and very fast work! i wich i could work as fast as you, but i get frusterated with pepakura because i don't see progress fast enough. i really like this build, and i think you will set many examples for everybody on this website. and i just want to thank you already for the neck seal idea. it is genious. if i were you, i would sell them:D but i am very pumped to see your nest update:)

that gun is unreal. is that styrene (or how ever it is spelled) that you are using for it? and if it is, what thickness are you using and how hard is it to work with (cut and shape)?

O.O <-------- my reaction
I'm so ... excited to see your work! You're my reason to continue my noble 6.
You, your armor, your machine gun are just epic.

"This is madness! ... No, this is 405th!!" :)

....................................................................
And all my condolences, I share your situation I was for my grand-pa funerals last week...

Nick Nack, question about your chest paint job. I'm in the process of painting my foam chest piece and I'm finding that if I use any kind of sprayed paint, it just soaks into the foam when it dries. So I've for now just used the ol' brush on method and it seems to have come close to the color I"m after. Mind you I'm using a darker green but had to lay it on thick. Any problems on your end with that?

Love the weapon F/X concept. Can't wait to see the chain gun finished, It looking really good so far.
