Thor's Hammer, Mjolnir - Opinions Wanted

Few more photos, just finishing whatever I can now and will pick it all up again after I get back from Armageddon and Weta next week.

Its part of kats shoulder, and has become a little bungie hero of sorts.

Back again, still busy getting stuff ready for the next big event (in June) and the even bigger one after that (Oct), plus whatever happens in between...



Pretty much finished with the hammer, except for the leather grip and little dealies to hand off the end.







Went back and weathered it a whole lot more after these photos too, the last one is with the new weathering (there's actually weathering under the head of the hammer, which you'll never see)

Soon I'll start a bolter to go with it, finish the Crozius and then, in the not too distant future, start the armour as well.



I also signed up on the local Cosplay forum, since I'm getting more involved with that side of things, and did some models for stuff people might need.



I've got some others I have to do too but I want to try and build an actual Keyblade and Yoko's rifle (from earlier in the thread) before I go much further.



Been doing some custom vinyl toys too, first is the WWII Captain America using one of the Teddy Troops as a base (still lots of paint cleanup to do)







The other is a mini Munny I picked up and am converting to be a teeny little Yoko from Gurren Lagann I've got another custom I'm working on too, which should appeal more to people here but I'm keeping the photos hidden until I get at least all of the sculpting done It's pretty boring otherwise.



I broke this out earlier today too, will try and finish the Big Daddy up for the next big Con in October...



... and hope some (or all) of the local Little Sisters show up for the same thing

Opinion time... Posting this up in a few places in an effort to get some thoughts on it so you may see it more than once Also temporarily changed the topic title to get some attention



People may have seen this elsewhere but I'm getting close to finishing up Mjolnir, which is based mostly on the movie version (which there is hardly any reference of I might add)











What I'm trying to decide is about the inscription on the side of Mjolnir, which should read "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor" (or "Any man that holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor" depending on your source material)

Not sure if I'll put it on at all and if I do should I do it in Runic or English? Example of the runic is below



The runes would be smaller though, I just did that quickly.



Anyone have any thoughts?



I'll probably put this up on DA later too, if you're in to that kind of thing

I'll have something up about the paint scheme fairly soon too, I just need to finish some examples and go from there.

If I remember right, the words on Thor's Hammer is in English. I think if you want it to be faithful to the comics, its in English. If you dont mind the hammer being exact then you should go with those cool looking Runic letters(Calligraphy?).

There is also a PDF file of the Marvel Comics version of Mjolnir out there. It has the writing on the side of the hammer the way it is in the comics as well (with the Marvel "Thor" Font)If that helps at all.
