Ron Paul. He's the only guy to come along in pretty much forever with an understanding of economics and/or Constitutional law.

true, but his statement as is sat made it sound like they were our only enemies. or that islamics are the only kind of terrorists. i know thats not the case, but it can be perceived that way.
very true, i was just pointing out that Al Quaeda isnt the only terrorist group in the world. also, North Korea was recently depicted as a threat to the US, and they arent islamic either. i understood your intention, but i think that maybe other may misconstrue your statement and say "yeah! bomb all muslims!" thats all.

aside from that, i still doubt Guiliani as a leader. he basically said that Al Quaeda hates us because of our freedoms, and that they attack us because of it. by that thinking, they will never stop attacking us because we will not change our form of government; basically we will never cease to be free. theres a large amount of evidence that points to a different motive, and it's that Al Quaeda attacks us because we have historicially always sided with Israel in middle eastern affairs, as well as armed one Islamic group so that they may attack another (arming iraq to attack iran, and then later arming Kuwait and Saudi Arabia to attack iraq). they may use religious references as a rallying point, but mostly its occupation and global meddling that has most extremists up in arms about us.
good point. it may also be because most americans are idiots. hell, even i can barely stand us. haha

i'd vote Colbert. i know alot of you are going to say that he is just doing it for attention but he actually knows what he is doing and wants to help America become the greatest country in the world again (no offense to any non U.S.A-icans). I wouldnt vote for Clinton or Obama just because the majority of people will vote for them just to set a record. That and i dont believe in what they do (im a conservative republican btw). I dont want free health care, most of what we would get would be crap. Why would you support abortion? If the girl didnt want a child she shouldnt have had sex. Why support gay marraige? they cant reproduce (thank god) and they dont do anything significant for society besides making america look bad.

those are just some things i felt like sharing. :]

edit: gravemind pretty much summed it up for me there. Guiliani would be a good leader because he knows who our enemy is-
radical islamic terrorists.

I don't want too sound mean or anything but

1st. Most of the people that want an abortion are raped (so they have no say weather or not they have sex)
2nd. Free health care ROCKS look at sweden, they have free health care, which means they can go to any doctor (exept private, i think >.<) and have a check-up too sugery and the government will pay (im pretty sure, but not quite on all the details)
3rd. Gay people have done a lot for society, they have great fashion scence, they are great in theater.... hell most greeks were gay look how they turned out. Besides there not hurting anyone, so what if they can't reproduce the world is already over-populated! And when have they ever made america look bad?

1st. While I agree that in that case they had no choice, I have to disagree with your conclusion on two counts: First, where did you get that most people are raped as opposed to just a few? Second, it makes no difference to me if you were raped or not, the product is a human being. Even if you disagree with me that an unborn child is a human, think of what people say whenever a young child dies. "He had such great potential!" So do the unborn.
2nd. Rock or not, it's socialist. And it's not actually free. Where does the government get it's money? Taxpayers. Who pays the most taxes? The people with the most money, who also can afford their own, far higher quality, healthcare. So the government steals from everyone and gives back to a few. Also: People from Canada will come to the U.S. for healthcare, because the doctors in canada suck. Why? The government can't afford to pay them good prices. Socialized healthcare does nothing but sound nice and decrease quality of life.
3rd. I won't argue that gay people are people, which is basically what your first sentence says. Let's see how the greeks turned out... They turned all imperialistic and their society fell apart when the Romans came around. Not that there's necessarily any link there, just answering your question. They may not hurt anyone but themselves directly, but as culture accepts homosexuality, more people will be gay, and gay people are at huge risk for STDs. And they make America look bad to anyone who disagrees with being gay.

Oh, and...
DOUBLE POST!
TRIPLE POST!

You do realize that most universal health-care plans out there SUCK, right? There are a few countries with pretty solid universal health-care plans (BTW, universal health-care = SKY HIGH taxes), but most countries can't utilize it very well because the government is unable to provide the necessary medical care and/or too many people exploit the program (people demanding help for the flu in emergency wards, etc.). State-funded hospitals in our northern states are actually starting to become overwhelmed with Canadians rushing over the border to receive emergency medical care not available in Canada.

Honestly, do you have ANY idea what you're talking about? From what I could tell, you're just another teenager that's been persuaded by the liberal controlled media (you* can try to say otherwise if you want, but the fact of the matter still remains that the majority of journalists in this country are liberals)** that all Republicans (and conservatives, for that matter) are bad. Do you honestly believe that Hillary or Obama will really be able to "save" our country? Do you really believe that universal health-care and increased welfare funding will magically bring down taxes,*** or are you just another mindless sheep that automatically labels the Democrats as "good" and the Republicans as "bad?"

* - By "you," I was referring to everyone, not specifically you.

** - I don't have anything against liberals. In fact, I support neither the people on the far right nor the people on the far left. As far as I'm concerned, far right = fascism and far left = country full of lazy assholes that will eventually ruin our economy. Unfortunately, the people behind the media are on the far left, so yeah . . . **** them.

*** - I really don't care about taxes as much as I care about my constitutional rights. I don't care which political party gets put in charge as long as I get my 2nd, 4th and 6th Amendment rights back.

PS: I'll be voting for Ron Paul in November of '08.

As far as I'm concerned, if you can't trust them as a regular person to act decent and make moral decisions, you can't trust them to run your country. I'm NOT applying this to any one party. If there is someone in any party that can do this, I support them. So long as their political view do not contradict my faith.

Yeah, sure. Although the Greeks didn't start off supporting homosexuality, and considering how their society collapsed on itself, yeah, they did pretty well. Just like Sodom and Gomorah and Rome, how so far, all those societies who started off as some of the greatest empires in the world, once they devoted their lives to sexual pleasure, their civilizations just collapsed. Really gives a great meaning to 'those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it'. With the U.S. following suit. Enjoy your life.

Ron Paul, FTW!

I swear, if Hilary Clinton wins I WILL leave the country. Not being sexist, just being smart. She's one of the main reasons why Mr. Clinton almost got impeached. All she wants is the publicity and to have power over something rather than her hubby.

i think bush should be in again. we need more comidy in the global political system. “This allegations are completley false, i know who these alligators are and will bring them justice” common you have to admit he's hillarious!!!!

by the way this topic is compleatly pointless :cautious:
