Harden it as a whole and cut it into pieces later. If the whole thing warps, the cut up pieces will still match. If two separate pieces warp, they may not.

Also, you probably mean rondo, not bondo.

Well, the message was not that you "probably mean rondo", but rather that you "definitely don't mean Bondo" ;-)

So I have now set the chest piece and the small ab plate, absolutely no warping at all so its perfect what color paints should I use to paint it? any tips with color?
Next up will be the COD piece

for the chest piece? I think I used 45 cm, I'm still adjusting it, the side strap parts need to be cut away a little to fit, but once thats all done I'll post some more pics of me wearing it
Also. . . I redid some of my Carter helmet, changed the visor; and I plan on making the entire Carter suit, right after I do the mark VI

i like the combination of a mark V helmet with the mark VI chest piece. especially carter's helmet it seems to flow with the mark VI's design. are u going to do carter's paint scheme for the rest of the armor?

actually I was planning on doing the mark Vi suit in its original color, and then make the helmet for it at the end... once thats done I'll get around to making the mark V suit to go with the Carter helmet

well unfortunately I have been having technical problems and haven't been able to upload any pics :/ but, I have managed to finish the chest piece, the COD piece and both thighs. . . but I'm about to head off on a skiing holiday so as soon as I get back I'll be sure to update!

Hi, I was planning on making the Commando helmet too with Ruze's model. I originally started the Mark IV (b) helmet but I acciddentally made the scale too small for my head. I really wanted the Commando UA/FC-I[2] with the visor (not Carter's) from Reach but I can't find a pep file anywhere for that version.

Looked through entire thread and everything looks great.

One thing though, the helmet isn't as... smooth. Is that because you didn't sand it as much, or what?
