By the way. Th3 FETT MAN: Beat 'ya too it! Tehe ...
Thanks! I really appreciate any feedback concerning any flaws in the model. I really spent a lot of time making sure that areas on the model (multiple polygons) remained as one flat face. It was just a bit difficult because, although they were flat, they were still at an angle. I had to pull out all the faces, flatten them, rotate them and then rescale them. It was a bit tedious. Anyway, thanks for pointing out that flaw. You did mean THIS face, right? It's still flat in Pepakura. I'll get on that (unless I'm too tempted to first model those sweet sniper plates!). Again, thanks for ur supportLooks pretty good so far; my only comment would be that the flat part on the upper shoulder plate (the almost "U" shape) should be a flat plane, your model looks like it's concave. A pretty quick fix. Other than that very good work!

Hehe I know, the forum can be pretty overwhelming sometimes, especially when you're first visiting it. I've been snooping around for a year, and some of it still confuzes me. I think one thing that might discourage noobs is the fact that there are so many talented artists and craftsmen whose work is so amazing, it sometimes discourages the noobs. I would know. It still happens to me. To anyone wanting to learn how to make armor, see thier work as something you can learn from. Don't let its awesomeness discourage you from making your own. Who knows, it might turn out better than theirs! By "the Big armor plate," do you mean the front chest-piece? That doesn't look too hard. I may go for it, just to see how it turns out. It's normal ... i'm a 405th Noob ... and still learning my way aroud the forums .... Too much information at once ... lol. Seriously ... it's great work you do ... now Do us the Big armor plate ... ( kidding ... or not .. hehe )

- Thanks a lot! I just thought it best to join after I had a bit of experience, as opposed to a noob asking people to do things for him without offering anything in return (cough cough). I'm amazed at how welcome the members here have made me feel. And thanks for saying you liked the model!Nightshade, that is a phenomenal way to introduce yourself to the site. Indeed. Couldn't agree more.

That sounds like a great idea! I would definitely appreciate just mentioning me if the article becomes a reality. I'm still amazed that Adam promoted me so quickly. I'd appreciate the fact that he still looks out for the newcomers. And thanks for the congrats. I appreciate it.I'm pretty sure that the idea was to have a new article with each site update. I'll definitely put your name in as a subject if the idea takes off. It's not often that Adam goes out of his way to promote a noob. Congrats.
