2 miles is substantial if you're talking about in terms from your house to say, the grocery store. Out in space, 2 miles is nothing.

This is done by swinging a pendulum of a length of exactly 1.0000m in a vacuum, and timing the length of time it takes to go through 100 oscillations.

Both are internet-based false statements, coincidently both have been proven wrong on Mythbusters. A daddy long leg can (and has) bitten a human. Their fangs are 0.25mm whereas human skin is only 0.1mm. Those bitten have only experienced a slight burning sensation.

As for the ducks quack, it's actually covered by the original quack due to a VERY similar acoustic structure between the quack and the echo. In most instances of echoes they're usually very different in waveform.

How does marijuana work by allergic reaction when the main compound (and the part that gets you "high") is THC. The THC compound is made up of cannabinoids, which is something that naturally occurs in your own body. There are even chemical receptors in your brain for cannabinoids.
