Finally I can update!

Here are pics of the thigh sofar. This is number 3. Some sections I was able recycle. I still need to add another 4 inch sectio to the inner area to keep it from ripping apart.

The size to my thigh is fine. It's just not wide enough.

Once I figure these problems out I'll be able to finish.

Edit:
Finished the Thigh! And I added Earth magnets to the holster area.

These magnets can hold a 1lb apiece! Got the Bundle of them for $12.99

Fits like a charm!

This Knife weighs 9 oz.'s these magnets are strong!

I free handed the inner thigh detail to match my Jorge Figure's thigh armor.

Ah! on to the the Left thigh.

Ok did a size up today, Inner thigh isn't really a good Idea now, and I need to lose some weight.
Hope you guys don't mind the Hairy Legs. I'll probly do the Grenadier Knees later on tonight.

Started a pistol so I could see how holstering would work, her's what I have so far.

Cool, you sure you dont want to use a slice magnum instead of making your own? it would save a whole lot of time.

HAve looked for one but can't find it. This foam is a pain to clean out to fit the clip.

Simply wow... I like the idea of doing a quick pep to see what it will look like and then do the foam build up.

Only works to get an accurate clip, I've got crat foam now to play with, pics up soon.

Here is what I got done tonight into this morning.

This gun is big, even in my hands...

Two Properly aligned magnets, and a steel rod with a sheeth and cap installed in mag chamber for stability when holstered.

And a really neat Cthulu Statue that Thorsson molded. I painted it.

well I have yet another unfirtunate event. The thigh is again too small. I'm up sizing it by 20 percent, my numbers are getting close to spartan sizes, never knew I was that big of a person.
These pics are some more progress I made with the pistol, I'm resizing the thigh tonight, and reworking the unfold a bit to where I have more solid and spanned out piece of foam, rather than little glued pieces here and there. I may see if the thigh I completed will fit my my bud Sean, He's doin a mk IV but he's not 405th... yet.

Ok if you notice, it now has a Barrel. Well I just stabbed my hotknife into it and it created a perfect .45 cal size hole.
To get the detail and smoothness I have, I layered 1/8 inch craft foam 4 layers thick.

I also added a semi-working slide and reciever, this prop, when finished, will look intimidating.

Hey Thats ALOT: I'll be using either an epoxy or plumbers caulk or wood filler, to fill my seams before painting. I'm slowly losing my mind right now with this idiot thigh and how it continues to change it's size magically.

But, seriously, you don't disappoint.

If I ever do get the Ground Gundam unfolded, I may yet do it as a foam-metal composite build. (Upscaling height for proportional accuracy)

IT's my Gouf 2.0 manual,
An when you size that suit, go a few sizes bigger and add padding to your boot soles. Fully thinking about articulating an ODST plate into the 3 piece set-up.
