I just saw your update to Moe's EOD. That's awesome! I had been planning on using that to go with my in-game Spartan but the missing details were a bit too much of an issue for me. Once I finish the rest of my suit I might need to give it a print.
The build is looking amazing and I can't wait to see the final suit up, good job man!

Both shoulders printed! Im a fan of both of them, We'll see if I like the look of both at the same time on me later. Im running out of things to print! Currently printing the belt and trying to figure out the size for my abdomen piece. I need to start working on a harness for all of this stuff, or some way of keeping the pieces of armor actually attached to my body.

Did the missing files on CG trader happen to be the chest components with hallowed areas for electronics? I have had the same issue

Yep. In the main set that’s supposed to contain everything it doesn’t have the versions for the holes for the electronics. When I discovered this I just got a refund. However, the security shoulder post also is missing the shoulders, so when I bought that I also had to get a refund. All the other posts look fine though.

Thanks! for gluing parts together, i use a 2 part epoxy resin. When I start sanding parts for this, I will go through cycles of adding bondo or filler primer, then sanding it down, then adding more filler primer or bondo until I am satisfied with the results. I am usually only satisfied with a near perfect finish with no print imperfections or layer lines, so this takes a while. Im sure I will go into greater detail about my finishing process when I am at that stage for the suit.

Update time! I've been super busy with midterms recently but have been trying to think of how I'm going to do the undersuit. I want to avoid what a lot of other builds have done, which is just to have black cloth showing as the undersuit. Im working on printing out a flexible abdomen piece out of TPU. Heres a vid of It flexing:
I want to do this for as many of the undersuit parts as possible, like neck gasket, under the chestplate/shoulder gasket, shorts area.
Im currently printing out the last large section of the abdomen (the part that's obviously missing here).
Also, I got my cr-6 se that I backed on kickstarter like 5 months ago finally! Prints like a dream so far! Now I have 3 3d printers, which is far too many now that I am almost done printing everything for the suit. HMU if you're interested in a heavily modded ender 3 I guess lol.

Did some work today,
I finished printing out the last big piece of the flexible tpu abdomen,
Also started work on my armor stand! I bought all the materials I will need, mostly PVC tubing, and made a duck tape dummy of my body to act as the shell over the frame.

Good progress on the armor stand!
Frame made out of PVC, With the shell made out of a duck tape dummy of myself. I need to figure out some way to stuff it in order to fill him out.
