If I'm not mistaken, that's what is called "wire loom". I believe it's generally used for insulating wiring. You can buy it at any major hardware store for cheap...

is that a blackberry "holster" on your belt?

Oh, I forgot to mention Smilie120, that pic was taken before I painted my helmet and the tape was just there so I can see how the Wire Looms would look on the helmet. I have actually glued the "looms" into place using CA glue. I can take a pic of the "looms" closer so you can see how I have it set up on my helmet now.

Wow, badass!

Is this some cable plastic cover or duct?

As SpartanII said, I am using 1 inch wire looms that I got from Home Depot.

What pepakura files did you use for the arms? They are really smooth!

I am using Robo's Basic files. The bicep had some areas that needed to be smooth and some that I just left alone. But about 90% of the bicep is covered in a layer (or 3) of glaze.

...oh....my....god!
that armor is so freakin awesome!!!! great job man!
wow, I wish mine could turn out that sweet, but I really doubt it. I don't know how to work with resin and all that stuff, and I don't want to deal with the toxis stuff =/

I posted a thread asking for help on any resin/fiberglass alternatives. If someone can help me, I'd appreciate it.

I just noticed how you attached your hand plate. AMAZING work on this, it's really inspiring.

Are you going to keep the hands like that? Or will you be permanently attaching them to gloves?

Yes I will leave the handplates as is because I wouldn't want anything falling off and then some kid comes, grabs it and runs like crazy away with it! :D

Yeah totally, I amn't looking forward to people wanting to kick me and stuff when I where it for Halloween

Can I ask how you did (or plan to do) the rest of your rigging system? It kinda looks like you have a nice snug fit with dark foam in the forearm, but I think it's just the painting scheme...
