Who can make a Tutorial?
A: Anyone

How do I make a tutorial?

A: Create a thread in any part of the forum you think your tutorial pertains to such as Costume, Props, Soft Parts etc.

What should I make a tutorial of?

A: Something you think you do well. If you need suggestions there are red topics in the table of contents below for tutorials that are needed.

How do I get the tutorial in the Tutorial Section?

A: start a conversation with me or any staff member and link us to the thread where you put your tutorial. If it meets the criteria it will be moved to the new subforum and added to the list

Criteria:
1. Must have unblurry, unbroken photos or video.
2. Uncovered topic or unique technique
3. Three or more member posts within the tutorial thread saying they found it helpful and/or well written.

Research:

Building a costume requires a lot of planning. First you’ll need to figure out what you want to build, find lots of reference photos of it. If you’re making armor you’ll want to get accurate measurements of your body or figure out how big you want to make your prop.

Below are various tutorials to help you with this stage.
 
Construction:

There are many ways to build Halo armor and costumes, each with their own pros and cons. We recommend reading member’s build threads in other parts of the site to get an idea what to expect from a certain method.
